Nowadays I try to follow in my great grandfather’s footsteps – albeit not with a paintbrush in hand, but with digital tools.

My job, however, remains the same as his:

Storytelling.

SAS / Kristiania

You don’t need an army to make a decent story. The marketing film below with SAS and Kristiania University College was written, shot and edited alone, although Scandinavian Airlines’ willingness to give us access to two Boeing 737s for the shoot certainly helped.

Vy

How do you get people back to public transportation after two years of covid-restrictions and home offices?

This campaign was made with Vy in April 2022 in a bid to increase awareness of their new & flexible ticketing system. Five articles were created at five different train destinations in a bid to highlight Vy’s new offering “Smartpris”.

Case

We buy their books and enjoy their storytelling, but what about the authors’ own stories?

Through Amedia, I got to produce the following campaign in association with Ark Bokhandel in December of 2022. The campaign aimed to increase awareness of the authors’ latest publishings ahead of the holidays – originating in their own childhood memories about Christmas.

Qantas Future Planet

Qantas is one of the leading airlines when it comes to carbon offsetting. This is a project from 2016 created to heighten the general public’s knowledge about the Future Planet-programme, showcasing what kind of productions you can do on a (very) tight budget.

Power

When Power Rud opened their new flagship store and needed a campaign to kick things off, they thankfully chose Amedia. I got to interview employees, shoot drone footage and make a scrollytelling-article to highlight their latest store.

The result? A high CTR and a bunch of new friends.

VFX - Visual Effects B.Sc.

Inspiring young people to embark on a career path is no easy feat. As a producer at Kristiania University College (2018-2022) I created a myriad of SoMe-videos aimed at encouraging young people to get an education.

This production was for B.Sc. in VFX - Visual Effects. It was part of a larger, strategic campaign aimed at increasing applicants and showcasing the possibilities for Kristiania’s VFX-students.

Go a little wild. Because why not?

This was a collaboration between the gym chain SATS and Kristiania University College aimed at showcasing both an education and a PT-programme. Our goal was as usual to increase applications to both programmes, using different versions of this video in SoMe to attract attention.

Me!

Sometimes I take off the marketing-hat, pack my bags (along with my drone), get on a plane and travel to places where I can create content which is just for me.

Because even though content marketing, media strategy and analytics are fun, it’s important to stay in love with content creation – the media that makes YOU happy. So more often than not, you’ll find me in a remote forest doing landscape photography, on a lake flying a drone, or in an airport lounge writing a travel letter.

Sometimes, all it takes is a little spark to get one going with an unexpected career. Mine was cinema. Never expecting to be working as a content marketer, I began my humble beginnings in marketing in 2013 by interviewing actors with the aim to sell more movie tickets.
